Social Media Coordinator, Production Assistant, Illustration and Design
For Ice Cream Cake (ICC) I acted as the social media coordinator and production assistant. My main duties included taking notes during meetings, coordinating with teammates on their work (to distribute to others and share on Instagram), and designing layouts for our website and press kit deliverables.
Social Media Coordinator:
(All posts following were planned based on weekly posts for approximately Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.) I collected work from fellow classmates to lay out and post as a showcase of their work on our senior film Instagram page. This schedule was a collaborative effort including student works in progress, my own illustrations (for the introduction borders), and other media to reflect the theme and personality of the team.
On average I lay schedules out for 3-4 weeks- each ranges in media but maintains a consistent theme. (The 3 by 4 post grid is based on the average posts that can fit in an iPhone screenshot, to create an appealing image of our page to an online audience.)
Pictured above are screenshots from the current Instagram layout. I incorporated work from the team to visualize our process through pre-production, production, and post production. Additionally I collaborated with our producer to create a spread to introduce our team (both students and volunteers) with cute illustrations. She drew the illustrations for the students, and I created the illustrations for the volunteer introductions.
As part of our milestones I also illustrated our main characters celebrating 200 followers for our page to post in its story! (Pictured left)

Website Design and Layout:
As part of the deliverables I worked on the website for our student film. I extended the illustrations I previously used for the social media introduction posts to fit the website format as a background. Half of the backgrounds are cake, and the other half are ice cream themed.
Production Assistant:
As Production Assistant I worked closely with all members of the team to promote a high energy and efficient work environment. During meetings (both inside and out of class) I took notes of shot updates, commentary from the professor and other students, as well as important information. After the meetings concluded I followed up by posting the notes on Discord and tagging the appropriate groups mentioned, as well as any channels the group may need to use to conduct their work. I helped facilitate information between multiple departments on the team to ensure the smooth production of our film.
