After graduation I picked up more 2D animation for characters than 2D effects. The inspiration came from watching anime (Japanese animation), which I mimicked the style of and used to create media with my own characters and for fan art.
2D FX for Ice Cream Cake:
These shots are from the final take of my senior project (showcased Spring 2022 and published to Youtube August 2023). In addition to duties as Production Assistant and Social Media coordinator, I was also responsible for the animation of many 2D animated effects as the two characters fought with cake and ice cream throughout the film.
